Michael Jai White plays heavyweight champ George "Iceman" Chambers who's sent to a Russian jail on trumped-up drug charges. Undisputed II is one of the best martial arts movies I've seen in a long time with a genuinely good story and really memorable characters. It really established Scott Adkins as the next action star and made Yuri Boyka a true Icon of Action.
The plot takes place in Russia, following two combatants from different parts of the world and how their fates shake hands in an. Their final fight is a mix of the previous two, with Chambers playing defensive counterstriking while Boyka comes with all on him. Only this time Chambers has much more tools to exert his strategy, and he uses also leg kicks and sweeps to capitalize on Boyka's relatively large openings. Undisputed II: Last Man Standing is one of the best prison fight films ever, it's full of blistering violence, Adkins is great and it's all well made but it's also incredibly familiar as at this point there are more prison fight films than there are actual prisoners around the world.
